Relax Games Valencia

Small puzzle games, made to be played slowly.

We're a two-person studio. Our first game, Twist & Merge, takes the number-merging puzzle you know and wraps it around a cube you turn layer by layer.

02 / 08 Paper

The board is a cube.

Twist & Merge is played on a 3×3×3 cube with a number on every tile. Turn a layer and its tiles meet new neighbours. When two equal numbers touch, they merge into the next one up: two 2s make a 4, two 4s make an 8, and it keeps climbing from there.

03 / 08 Wood

Every move turns nine tiles at once.

You pick a layer and turn it, the way you would on any puzzle cube. Merges happen along the seam between the layer you turned and the one beside it, so a single turn can set off several of them. Most of the game is looking at the cube from a couple of sides before you commit.

04 / 08 Egypt

Eight worlds, and each one sounds different.

The cube you're scrolling past wears the actual skins from the game: classic, paper, wood, Egypt, beach, metal, ivory and ice. Each comes with its own music and its own click when a layer turns. Ice gives a short, sharp tick. Sand is soft and dull. Metal rings. Paper barely makes a sound.

In the game, this world's track is called “Sands of Still Time”.

05 / 08 Beach

No clock, unless you want one.

The endless game never counts down or hurries you. The one clock is in speed runs, and those start only when you choose. The game works offline, follows your Reduce Motion setting, and plays the same whether or not you sign in to Game Center or Google Play Games. Close it halfway through a board and it'll be waiting when you come back.

Free to download, with optional in-app purchases. A one-time purchase removes the ads.

07 / 08 Ivory

Two people in Valencia.

We make everything ourselves: the code, the art, the skins, the sound, and the translations into eight languages. There's no publisher and no marketing budget behind us, so if you enjoy the game, telling one friend about it helps us a lot.
